Mobile Agriculture (M-Agriculture) is a mobile technology that aims to help farmers, breeders and fishermen access their crop markets through their mobile phones. This will enable them to reach the markets and especially the buyers of their products and agricultural products without the hassle of exporting the products to the market.
Thus, through this technology farmers, breeders and fishermen will be able to provide crop information, crop prices and their location so that buyers can reach them more easily. This will open and connect more retailers and consumers in the country and reduce the cost of access to agricultural products.
Malengo ya kuanzishwa kwa jukwaa hili ni:-
- Kuwaunganisha wakulima na wanunuzi wa mazao yatokanayo na kilimo, mifugo na uvuvi.
- Kuwaelimisha wakulima kuhusu kilimo, uvuvi na ufugaji bora.
- Kutoa mbinu za kukabiliana na changamoto za mazao yatokanayo na kilimo, mifugo na uvuvi.
Jukwaa hili lina sehemu kuu mbili:-
- Huduma ya masoko: Sehemu ya kuwaunganisha wauzaji na wanunuzi kuuza na kununua mazao.
- Huduma ya ushauri: Kupata ushauri wa kitaalamu kutoka kwa maafisa ugani.
